Another nice surprise.
I've just learned that my image "6 Degrees of Chaos" has been selected for the People's Vote Awards in the reFocus Black & White Photo Contest in 2 categories, Aerial and Event.
The Black & White Photo Contest celebrates one of photography's most enduring forms — stripping away colour and leaving behind only light, shadow, texture, shape and emotion. It's a genre that demands a different way of seeing, and one I've grown to appreciate more and more over the years.
While the main awards are judged by industry professionals, the People's Vote is a little different. It puts the decision in the hands of the public, which means every vote comes from someone who simply connected with the image.
